15 Jul 2008, a date that has been giving me the jitters for past few days, my BIG day that i gonna sit for my driving practical test. Quite a nerve wreaking experience. Its been a long long time that i really had to go for a test with someone sitting beside me, evaluating me. Its not a nice feeling u know.
Been getting pointers from some of my instructors during the last few lessons and i really thank them for it. Glad that now, those were really the "last" few lessons and no more from now on.
And thou that demonic instructor who
kan sway me that i won get my license(as in forever and ever kind) might not be reading this, but i still wan to tell him that nah he is wrong this time. i got it on first try. i don have to see him anymore and vice
verse. yippee and thank god.
Just a recap of what happen today, quite sway actually. I need to report at the centre at 330pm, got out of home at 230pm. Recall about the stone story **picking a stone from the road before the test. The bigger the better, the higher the chance of passing** that my
fren told me and well thou ridiculous, i still pick up a stone on the way just to feel safer. 宁可信其有， 不可信其无 you know.
Reach the interchange at 240pm to wait for the bus to the centre. Normal the freq is 10min and the ride is at most half hour. I wait till 3pm and not a bus in sight. Damn scared
i'll be late and the next thing i knew, the bus conductor start pasting this notice on the pillar, saying that there is bus disruption due to heavy roadworks along
Enos Link. Oh man, a bad
phenomenon. There and then i just decide to take a cab instead of wasting time. this kind of money cannot save one.
I manage to reach in time and proceed to wait at the waiting room for my warm up. While waiting, 3 candidates from the test session before me came back and guess what, all 3 failed! Add on to my nervous-
ness Then during my actual test, big heavy downpour. Was so worried that i cant see a single shit on the road and will just failed my test. Then after the test, the tester just happily started ticking the test script right in front of me. The so many ticks that he put almost make my heart stop jumping for that moment. Each tick represent a demerit item and 20 points and above will deem fail.
But 人算不如天算, i clear with 16 points. Yeah!!
Haha. No more driving classes, no more instructors from hell, no more sacrificing of
weekends.
Hmmm.. I prefer the Viva (green one) actually.. Less common on the road.. Picanto is like everywhere in singapore..
